Cookie Policy

What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites and applications work correctly, or to provide information to site owners about how their service is used.
Our approach
CareDeck uses a minimal number of cookies. We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting cookies, or third-party tracking cookies of any kind. We have no interest in building profiles of your browsing behaviour.
Cookies we use
Essential cookies
Essential cookies are required for the platform to function correctly. They cannot be disabled. Our session cookie is stored as an HttpOnly, Secure cookie — this means it is invisible to JavaScript running on the page, which protects it from cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.
Analytics cookies
We use a privacy-first analytics tool that does not track individuals, does not use fingerprinting, and stores no personal data. The data collected is aggregated and anonymous. If you prefer not to be included in analytics, you can opt out by enabling "Do Not Track" in your browser.
Marketing cookies
We do not use marketing, advertising, or retargeting cookies on any CareDeck-operated domain.
Managing cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:
- View and delete cookies already set.
- Block all cookies from specific websites.
- Block third-party cookies without affecting essential first-party cookies.
Note that disabling essential cookies will prevent you from logging in to the CareDeck platform.
Changes to this policy
We will update this policy if we change the cookies we use. Material changes will be communicated via an in-app notice.
